Uppu nāykaḷ

The house is five different for each of the five people in a house. The five people try to live and die in a sixth way that is independent of these five. They hide from each other, escape from each other, and sneak around the day and night of the same house and the same street. If this song is for a house and a street, why should it be heard for a city? Without comfortably distancing themselves from the question of why they should be heard, Lakshmi Saravanakumar throws before us a city filtered in her darkness, asking, 'What are you listening to or not listening to?' In my many days in the West, I have not seen or guessed even by chance. It is because the world and the people are something I have not seen and beyond my imagination that it became attractive to me.
